Was fixing the car up yesterday at a mates and he was looking after an old r reg Ducati 900ss.

Fire it up and got on it and reved it to 3k. Grrrrrrrrrr.


SP (Can now drive in the dark as lights work and can close the boot just 10 things left to fix...)

have said it a few times in the past...

if i had the money, id buy one to start up, rev it and then put it back in garage again... or just use it on track days..

i just dont trust other road users enough to go to 2 wheels.

I have been resisting the temptation for years to get into bikes. Lots of attractions: modern bikes are beautiful pieces of engineering, they offer staggering performance per £ and are a huge buzz to ride. BUT the accident stats are pretty horrific, and I wouldn't trust myself not to get carried away and bin it a high speed. My brother is a doctor and used to be into bikes - he gave up after a spell working in A&E where seeing bikers lives wrecked was a depressingly regular occurance.

But a cheap track bike would be cheaper than the cheap track car I have ?
