Due to complications, they ran the second race as a scratch race, then did the handicap afterwards. Andy finished 3rd in class, but was awarded the win overall after the handicapper did his magic.

His imaginitive qually style might have helped.

well done again andyG :thumbsup

An amazing weekend!
Andy drove really well and pulled it out the bag twice.
He freely admits that he used up one of his lives in the second race though!
Gav also drove really well, def thing Neil could have done well with the conditions

I also used up one of my lives in the 2nd race - having an amazing three-way battle between Sean Bricknell, Ben Pitch and myself. Got past Sean under brakes and had swapped places with Ben a couple of times. With Ben ahead we cam to the last corner and he got it sideways so I gave him space then he got a tank-slapper going the other way, he then looked like he had caught it so nailed the throttle only for him to do the same and completely spin so as I was along side him he was facing the side of my car. He clipped my rear wheel as he went around. Big bang and the car went sideways - just caught it and managed to stay ahead of Sean to finish. On inspection of my car for damage I found buts of green clam wedged between the wheel and tyre  Had to deflate the tyre to get it out. Ben's car has a massive hole in the front

Everyone I spoke to had the best race they ever had - great thing rain...

race report will follow once I've shaken off the tiredness!

MASSIVE thanks to Robin though - just an unbelievable effort to make the journey all that way to come and support me - I am hugely lucky to have such a great mate!

His genius with the settings really helped me in qually, and had i not had a mare i should have been closer to Gav.

Race 1 finished 2nd was closing on Gav, but a couple of group B and C cars where in between us :(

Race 2 - somehow won!

Race report to follow
