Had a great night and a few drams. Sorry forgot to take my camera. Had a quick look round the distillery, but have been invited back for a non tourist tour

We stayed here. http://www.mashtun-aberlour.com/ in the Glenlivet room. Very nice place, will have to make it a couple of nights next time so I have time to do some fishing. A guy pulled a 40lb salmon from the beat just outside the pub on Friday. (its about the best pull you'll get in Aberlour). Its only £20 per day to fish and you can hire all the stuff inc waders from a shop in the village.

Mashtun seems to have gone up in the world! I remember it as a bit of a dive and haunt for the under age drinkers.

Used to go to Aberlour every year for the highland games...
