FALC - Whats it worth?!

Post by ed » Sat Jun 30, 2007 10:59 am

Ive been asked if ill take the following as p/ex.

I dont know the first thing about Scoobys so your thoughts please:
2004 WRX STi Type UK in WR Blue
04 plate
(nearly) 24k miles with Fmain dealerSH plus interim oil change with
bill
PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack) dealer fitted with certificate (£2k
upgrade)
raises power from 265PS to 305PS (about 300bhp) and raises tourqe.

RAC Trackstar tracking system
19" x 8" OZ racing Superleggeras
McGard splinedrive nuts and locking nuts
Eibach uprated springs (not too low) on standard shocks
Hayward & Scott Jap style 5" angled stainless back box
Scott Lowe GRP front splitter in metallic black
Debadged bootlid
Front headlight amber flashers removed and cowls painted satin black
Carbon/Aluminium strut brace
Prodrive mudflaps
STi option panel Air filter
ECUTEK ECU remap giving 350bhp and 355lb/ft torque (graph to prove)
Your thoughts please!
cheers Ed

I am guessing you would then try and sell this too?
Sounds like a PITA
14k?
There are a lot of Scoobys on PHs not sure how quick a turn around you could get on it

I think John Stewart is your man Ed - maybe post a question on SIDC webbie?

As Jamie says, will be a PITA to sell on (plus by tranfserring it to you, you add an owner to the history). You could always offer a smaller amount, telling the guy if he thinks its worth more, he sould sell it himself ;)

Sounds like a nice sedate daily driver. Ideal foil to the SS.

Tbh I'd not take it, get him to sell it privately. Any potential problems could be mucho expensivo. More difficult for you to sell, especially if you know nowt about them.

given the power increase it might be even more thirsty than Chewy.

I'd aks John how easy he thinks you'd get rid, and then consider.

HAs the boy given you his impression of px & cash for the deal?

Ive politely declined the offer. . . . .

Next up is a 05 plate Seat Ibiza FR TDI 130 which sounds promising!
Not sure how many benjamins just yet! :)
