getting a small cheap hot hatch race ready is always an idea the £500 budget can get you alot of banger, Metro Gti ?
only cause I considered doing it a few years back and I recon car you could get yourself a minted 1 racing for sub £1K

Not sure how you'd go about some form of payment

but that can be decided between yourselves and preferrably behind closed doors
(all the above pending agreement with him of course

)

I've offered to buy 50% shares in the banana but he's either not read my PM or was insulted by my offer of £3.50 and a bag of dry roasted peanuts...I drive it more than him as it is...

(have you got his email address onthe boat?)
Would need a new seat - my fat ass doesn't fit and wouldn't fancy 3K miles sitting on the floor...
Quite a few irons in the fire the moment as regards a car for FF so we'll see what happens...

OK, SE car...
1996 Elise, 150bhp, Nitrons
asking price is £5.5K
Needs a wee bit of work - new rad fan (supplied) and new rear rotors...
Anyone want to go halfers?
I'd really need someone to look after it and fix at least the rad fan as I won't have time to do much between flying in and leaving for FF.
Less than 3K gets someone a Elise (for 48 weeks of the year)...

Yup, she still needs a wee bit of work but should be fine by August.
Co-owner may even get a shottie on FF...

Top sheddage! Some nice upgrades on that car, and it feels quick too for its numbers - a much more usable power curve than my S160.
Congrats to both co-owners!
