AA cover for older cars?
AA cover for older cars?
Was going to get some AA cover sorted for the S1 but having alook at the T&C and there is a limit to the age of the cars (less than 10yrs old). What do peeps do for road side recover with cars 10+ or over 100 thousand miles?
The parts and Labour cover is 10 years old and 100k miles when registered, once registered it's covered as long as the service is up to date, but the actual roadside recovery is for any car at all. It even covers cars you are a passenger in.
Trust me
the Porsche has tested this twice now, 85k miles (Assuming the Odo is original and has worked thoughout its life, which is unlikely) and 27 years old....
Dizzy trigger plug (Well the previous owners crimps) snapped off, fixed in about 30 mins (Now replaced with a proper plug) and then the dizzy got jammed at max advance (Now replaced with a second hand dizzy), AA failed to fix after 2 hours but everything else checked out... Discovered the dizzy problem the next day
The patrolmen I have encountered have all been enthusiastic about the 924 as it isn't a boring euro box and have both got well stuck in fixing it
