Got my car back today, new head has been fitted. and everything seems okay, I'm a bit scared to boot it as I have had to sell myself at glasgow green to pay for it

now it's just 4 tyres, tax, mot, headlamp cover, header tank, respray and a retrim and thats her finished.

Cool
Provided you have bedded in the cams, boot it - there's no run in required for the head as such.
What liner heights did you end up with?
Cheers,

it ranged from about a thou all the way to 2 thou as it was an oil/water failure and not combustion I thought that will do. all I need it something that will make sure there is no dulux emulsion left in it.

If you drained the oil and changed the filter, it'll be fine - give it beans
