A mate has used Henry Roy to programme his emerald running his throttle bodied 106 recently and says the guys knowledge is awesome, apparently he is well known in Scotland for that sort of thing. Might not be very hand if your in Abz though.

Wait for one of the other Abz lot to post about Ricky, I'm sure quite a few of them have used him.

Bob

Ricky has been doing my car since 1999. He's a good friend now. He upgraded both my K engines and everything else that I have had done to the car. One of the old school, ie will repair or make a part himself as opposed to just fitting a new one.

He is well Elise experienced now, and the same with Emerald mapping, and has an oldish R/R. Labour rate is £28/hr.

Does your ECU log data?

looks like it does :)

all you do is drive about logging the data for throttle, revs and lambda and then change the areas in the screenshot to the correct values

it's quite fun to do

Thanks Lawrence It also Logs upto 7 items in the data log but at the moment its running the wrong map big valves t boddies ect and is very rich, but I would like to learn what to do sounds easy but only if you know what figures to put where ??

I also want to go T boddies in the near future hence would be handy to learn then its just fit and retune wereas if its mapped now it would be a bit off a waste

Thanks Tut also heard good things about Ricky Gould but was told he sets up more for the track were as Henry Gould sets up more for drivabilty ie road and has loads of experance with the DTA S60 but £28 ph is very good plus he's closer

the wide band lambda screen gives you the afr figures

you simply swap them over to the fuel map with a bit of math
if you use the afr value of 14.7:1 for 1 lambda and each decimal is say 1% added or subtracted to the fuel numbers in the injection map

and before you ask why the computer doesn't do that, it probably will soon :)

we have the use of a couple of Emerald specific scripts that do a lot of the work for us

but when you map yourself then you soon see and hear the correct fueling and it gets easier :)
