Seeking some camber adjustment shims...and geo settings
The shims might be needed when getting my geo done at CLCM this Friday.
Anyone local to C Scotland got access to a couple? Will happily buy, or use on sale or return basis (Willie is fairly confident that he won't need extras, but best to be sure).
I am also looking for "standard" geo settings to give to Willie...though I realise there is probably no such thing as "standard" !!
The car is on uprated spings & dampers, at approx 120mm ride height all round. I am looking for neutral setup, tending maybe slightly towards sharper turnin (I will accept the oversteer risks!).
Will check the Lotus Workshop manual, obviously, but any advice gratefully received.

Standard settings will be in the handbook (or workshop manual).
I think the geo settings I've used in the past may be a bit aggressive for your tastes/usage. Maybe 340R road settings? Someone will have them.

BTW, and for general interest, the shims are part#:
front : 2 sizes :
1mm = A111C0062F
3mm = C111C0064F
rear:
1 mm = B111D0052F
and a shim (1 mm) = +0.2° (positive camber if added, negative other way)

I have lost track of the team shim bag, but you won't need any I hope!
You should have:
Front toe 0.2mm toe out overall, (0 min, 0.2 max) and obviously that should be even side to side.
I would aim for 0.3 degrees -ve camber at the front. Obviously should be the same on each side, as far as possible.
For the rear you want 1.2mm toe in (yes, in) each side, (1.2 min, 1.4 max) and even side to side.
Rear camber -1.8 degrees of camber, +/- 0.2 on each side.
I would get that all setup with me in the drivers seat and 20l-ish of fuel.
You may find the steering wheel isn't centered - I almost always find that when toe is adjusted statically it doesn't end up with a straight wheel, even when I hold it straight during the process!

I'll ask if he has a few rims or tyres to stack in the driver's seat (on top of a seatcover, natch!!)
But I'll pass these setting details on to him, and we'll see what the result is like.

Think I've got .25mm camber at the front (each) and something close to standard at the rear.
I was given setting but I would need to have machined the hub carriers to get that extra bit of camber.
Tis a mute point now as if anything I'll be taking some camber off to make the car easier to live with on the roads.

Was in great shape on the Leaves Run on Sunday. So pleased with it that I am keeping the summer wheels ON and hardtop OFF for the winter, at least at present...so that I can go out and enjoy those crisp sunny days with six layers of clothes and two pairs of gloves on
