Thx... Lettering was on the wheels rather than tyres.. They were Toora's from memory.

Well... I wheeled it out on to the drive at lunch time, and my execution was not as good as I'd hoped. A fair few bubbles and stuff.... so I've whipped them off for now.
I think I'll maybe do something a bit more discrete, maybe behind the front wheel arch or something. But I'll wait until it's a nice day so I can do it outside and see the mess I'm making as I do it.
The black rubber edging stuff arrived for the diffuser today, so I'll concentrate on arranging the powdercoating of the diffuser for now.
Thanks for the comments anyway... I was quite surprised that the wife was quite liking it.

2 Glasses of wine... and I got the itch again tonight. Did the following on both flanks and it's staying like that until I get the diffuser done next week.
Looks even more of a taxi now... but at least it is less than doing 2 full stripes up and over the length.

Go get another glass of wine and stick some on the rear flank like JJ's

I would be keen to see how it looked on a yellow elise
Go on... just this once

I was gonna copy JJ, had the little squares all lined up and everything... but that just shows no imagination. Plus, I thought he might hit me if I turned up to knockhill in an obvious JJ knock-off when he was there
I have taken yourt advise on the wine tho !!

Without the benefit of wine I took a bit of paper and folded it lots of times then cut little squares out of it then used sticky tape to hold it in place so I could see what it looked like on mine. Lost a bit of the effect since it was white paper and the squares ended up as rectangles and the sticky tape was un-sticky. Decided against taking pics

Trying to see yours was my shortcut to trying again

I think the Exige rear probably suits it better than the elise if I'm honest... came to that conclusion after laying them out.
I've got some spare vinyl if you want it though Renmure... the wifes guillotine was used tonight for near perfect 2" squares.

They are not squares, they are curved diamonds, so they are a bstard to cut and fit. Look good though.....
