Notify me when a reply is posted .. well... not really..

Dunno whom to tell/ask but being an old git who tends to forget checking on things I'm a happy user of the PHPBB option "Notify me when a reply is posted"

The only problem.. when I get a notification mail from SE telling me something has been posted on a subscripted thread, the link doesn't match (404 not found)

Any ideas?

latest news... for some strange reason, it seems to have cured itself

Can it be caused by using a PC which has not been logged on before?

Very possibly - although I'd expect it to take you to the log-in screen. Still, if it works, it works
