More details:
I made a bit of a compulsive purchase yesterday.. which means my 205 will have to make way for the new car.

If anyone is interested before I put it on e-bay please let me know. Its a well documented car, in very good mechanical condition. I am still in regular contact with the last owner by e-mail and the car comes with lots of history.

Its a J reg, non cat, non sunroof car with PAS.
Elec windows, 5 speed box with quaife LSD.
Wide track 209 suspension, new rear beam, polybushed. Spax shocks. Quick rack.
Sparco bolt in roll cage and Sparco seats.
I have done 4 track days in it - no major problems. Good tyres all round. Had oil changes after every track day by my local specialist - well know PH'er.
Its done 174k, engine was completly rebuilt at approx 150k.
Other than the above mods its standard. Pulls well and no problems that I know of.

Spare set of wheels included.

11 months MOT and 6 months tax on the car.

Looking for £2,100

sweet 8)

Bin the spax for a set of billies (forest spec is a nice comprimise) and that'd be a cracking car. Not clear if it's got 309 suspension all round either, looks like it's still got 205 bottom arms.

I think Lawrence and I saw that car... next to a mountain of jacks & impact wrenches.

now that, is the shnizz 8)

ah the memories of my gravel spec gti, a total shed of a car, but it had quite a few nice bits bolted to it - the front suspension was worth more than the rest of the car without it

Once upon a time...However I've just put my sensible head on and reminded the emotional side that this is still an older car and will need as much, if not more, TLC than the Elise. Which I can ill afford in all respects right now!

It will sell nae bother I am sure.
