Who is the bloke in question?
My contact is Euan Colbron, who is the Scottish AROC treasurer IIRC, and also happens to be the boss man at CP Garage, one of the best Alfa Independants in Scotland (and also my friendly MOT station

Chap on PH is called Alfa Mad (Alasdair Morrison). I don't know him. His profile says that he works at a garage in Creiff.

I sent him a PM and am awaiting a response.

Don't know him either - but they must be struggling for numbers if they're whoring it on PH
Should be a nice quiet session

Great timing. The drive belt (crankshaft, alternator, S/C) stripped a rib yesterday, but fortunately held together.
Have ordered a new one from Dingbros, and hopefully John Duthie can fit it tomorrow so that I do not miss KH on Friday.

I spoke to one of the Alfa guys today. I am just away to book for this but it appears that there are quite a lot of spaces left.
I was speaking to Alasdair Morrison and he was saying that if they don't make up the numbers they have to pay it from club funds. So it could well be a real bargain if the track is quiet.
As far as I am aware, you can still arrive and drive for £60 on the night, however, I am sure they would appreciate it if you could let them know if you are going to make it in advance though.
All being well, I'll hopefully see you on track.

Was the gut feeling when I handed the cheques iin to CP yesterday - so no worries about turning up on the day mac
See you there Stewart
I also asked if the Alfa guys would be p1ssed at a bunch of non-alfas which were a *fair* bit quicker would put any noses out of joint, but was assured that they're there for the fun, which is nice

Andy
I will shortly be advertising the cylinder head from my K series engine on eBay.
It is a full DVA spec Big Valve head, ported and gas flowed, Ivey oversized inlet and exhaust valves, Collibri springs, Piper 285 mechanical camshafts, vernier pulleys. Around £1800 worth at the time.
With an Emerald ECU and Jenvey throttle bodies it was putting out 190hp.
