Update!
Well just got back from Taunton
Turned out to be a nice motor all seemed to work well did a lot of poking etc was happy that it was not a dodgy one so went out to test drive it. It felt great to be back with K power it just reminded me of my first Elise. It steered and stopped well. Only minor issue was that there was a fair bit of play in the gear change from side to side but not too bad. Found myself approaching a round about and with out thinking H&T my first down shift - God it was good to have none servo assisted brakes!
Anyway got back and knocked a couple of hundred off the price and shook hands on it
He then was shocked to hear I wanted to take the car then and there ! I explained that it was near enough 4 hrs in the car and did not fancy doing it again. So he took my photo :? and I phoned up my bank and got them to confirm the transaction!
He looked very sad and shocked to be loosing the Elise – I remember something similar when the red beast left my ownership.
She ran very well on the way back running very sweetly and giving Rich my mate in my 350Z a run for his money.

Very please with the new steed cant wait to get it on track!

I also have some crazy plans for it next winter

I can remeber being very sad when i sold my Esprit. Infact i had a tear in my eye. People do get attached to their car, as i did mine. However now i have the Elise, its all come back again. Glad to read you have another one.

That is a really attractive combo, the orange with blue hood. Quite unusual yet classy.

Bravo.

But keep it standard. The best Elises all are ;-)
