I've enjoyed reading about tut's new wheels and the whole idea has started to get me a bit excited about my next car.
So I spent a wee while looking at some reg plates to see what I should put on it and now need some help.
I have a plate with my initials already and may swap that over but in the mean time I've found these and would appreciate you ruling out any as poor taste

L007 EUR looks like 'loser' (albeit badly spelt) at first glance

...not what such a nice car would deserve?
When's it arriving, Lawrence?

Don't get me started on number plates - why don't the S2's have screws instead of silly sticky pads and stuff. It took me longer to fit the plates than it did to take the head off and put it back on - well, OK, that's a slight exaggeration, but you get the drift. Best bit was using the angle grinder with my fancy new carbon foam "polishing" disk to remove all the old stick pads (and most of the paint) off the rear of the car

Luckily I had a tin of spray on exhaust paint, same matt black colour, so I just gave the back end a quick respray - job done
Cheers,
Robin

P.S. EII OPA gets my vote if you have to have a silly plate

I still think getting it registered at the factory with an AU plate gives it maximum class, though

L7 EUR get my vote (as the unbiased driver of L3 EXG

). I'd be very interested to see you car when it arrives, especially in screaming green. That VX engine sounds like a Pandoras box of tuning potential too

E11 OPA - sounds like you've shimmed down the drain pipe and are heading for Gretna Green!

None of them!
I don't really like plates that try and badly spell out what type of car it is, it's not like people won't be able to see it's a Lotus after all
