Campbell could not agree more. Sunday evenings are back to their best. Also isn't Sky Plus marvellous as I was late in after my run today but had set it to record TG so did not miss it

AM V8 every time
Thought they handled it very well
I to wish they would get rid of the set-ups etc but I think it is a necessity to keep all the non car types entertained.
Genius end of program comment – ‘Just remember speed kills’ Cut to shot of Hamster still live and kicking ....

Thank god we've got more than 5th Gear again.
The road thing was a touch dull, but loved the Jag vs Aston bit!
Here's to them doing more car tests this series.
There was a certain sense of dramatic irony with the hamsters comments pre-crash, a very luck man indeed.

The road thing (IMHO) was a last minute staged event to poke fun at the HSE - probably due to their investigations into the hamster crash.
Watch it again and see how many references were made to Health & Safety!

Brother said he had a run in with one the other day, his trusty 05 STI PPP was gaining on it, and the guy was trying like hell to get away from him after a roundabout.
In fairness, I would expect a PPP'd STI to see off most things this side of a GT3

I'm not so sure... it looked like mid summer when they filmed that???
I did find the 'speed kills' comment at the end very amusing

Hopefully TG were using the Hamster crash as the opportunity to 'bury bad news' in the form of that dreadful, drawn-out, road-surfacing caper.
It wasn't a last minute thing Mac, as it was pre-Hamster crash. It was filmed in September.
I would have felt more confident in the rest of the series if it had been a last minute filler
Having said all that....still the best thing on telly

IMHO - they probably re-scheduled other car related antics as they knew ppl would watch for the crash alone - hence general lack of road testing.
Clarkson's becoming more of an oddball with every new series

. I really like their humour and it often reminds me of SE banter at track days ect. Glad its back

Headway said it had been inundated with complaints
then later in the article
The charity said it had received 50 complaints
Ooooh they must have had a hard day reading 50 emails.
Nothing like a bit of sensationalism to get a point across.....
