Finally... I've seen the shift light.

Post by gorrie » Thu Jan 25, 2007 5:39 pm

Well... it's been cack weather ever since I've had this beasty. But today at lunch time I saw the sun sneeking a peak...

Off with the top, switch the phone off... 1hr of fun.

1st time I've had a chance to produce the red shift light (didn't want to provoke the A048's until now)... although I was trying to keep up with a 911 at the time. Happened to cross under a bridge at about 6K/rpm.... ooooooh,

So, I now feel like a proper Lotus driver rather than just an owner. The wife had a wee shot too. I was a bit concerned when she said she could just imagine her flinging it in to a corner at KH  ... smoothly does it dear.

Perhaps that has something to do with them not being fitted in S1's

I have hit the limiter a couple of times on SE runs, normally getting carried away and forgetting I'm in second....

Thought I'd blown it up the first time!
