Hi all,
Someone told me a while back about a range of bullet cams that are a complete self-contained unit that records directly onto an SD card. Can't find any info about them anywhere though. Anybody know anything about them?
Cheers

Looking for a bullet cam.

Some very reasonable priced solid state recorders with AV input for bullet cams
Dunno about the single unit bullet cams though.

The Oregon Scientific ATC2K was tested on Gadget show a couple of weeks ago and is a self contained unit recording onto SD card. Looked interesting and it was quoted as being around £70 odd quid. However on the Gadget show site it now says they are £159.99. Checked Oregon Scientific's UK website but couldn't find out anything about it. Info from Gadget show hereroadboy wrote:Hi all,

What's the Archos like for recording trackday footage, as a hard disk player is it likely to be affected by vibrations through the car? I'm quite keen to get a bullet cam and some sort of digital recorder in the new year, I have no need for a video camera, but an Archos would be of more use to me.
I quite liked the look of the MobiBox from FastFilms, but can't help thinking that an Archos might be a better bet purely from the storage point of view. Any advice welcome, will be looking to buy sometime in the new year
