Competed for GB in alpine skiing
Almost killed in an Avalanche
Almost broke my neck by hitting a rock then a tree (while skiing)

Also almost killed by a bull elephant in Tanzania - walking along a path in camp when I hear breathing look up to see bull 8 meters away standing there swaying looking right at me. Slowly bent down and picked rock up and then slowly backed up to the nearest hut. The bull charged and killed a worker at the camp the following month.

That day I also jumped 25m on the long distance jump (but didn't win)

Pretty good going Uldis, the world record is 9m.

That's wrong, there's plenty of videos that show lots of bikers jumping a lot more than that.

The guy that won did 27m. that day.

Forgot to add that my Dad is pals with Jimmy Savile, so I've met him a few times, plus he's sucked my wife's knuckles (Sir Jimmy, not my Dad :roll: )
