SE's Kelly Brothers' Epic Fundraising trip.

Many of you will know JJ and Phil who have been SE regulars for years. They are about to embark upon an epic trip from Glasgow to the Sahara desert, in a smart car, done up like a kids "cozy coupe" car to raise funds for CHAS. Here is their story;


TEAM COZY COUPE - SAHARA IN A SMART CAR.

We have been wanting to fundraise for CHAS since Robin House helped Lynne, myself and Rafferty in September 2014.

CHAS provided incredible care for our terminally ill son Rafferty, and without the care and support they offer the hardest period of our lives would have been even more difficult.

Me: Phil, what can we do to raise money for CHAS?

Phil: Run a marathon? Swim somewhere?

Me: (trying to avoid exercise) Why don't we get a smart car, decorate it and drive it to Africa?

Phil: LETS GO.

We are driving to Gibraltar as part of an organised charity banger rally, but then will continue south on our own into Morocco and onto the Western fringes of the Sahara desert. Wish us luck and get donating!
