Not 100% finalized but looks like I have came to an agreement with a fellow SE member for a 111R SC.

This is my first RWD car so I think it will take me a long time to get used to this motor. I am away with work just now but hope to have the car by March - I will post pictures ect at the time.

Hopefully get to see some of you guys at a meet in the future.

Thanks for all above comments. This really is a great forum!

Congratulations.

Book a day with Andrew Walsh at carlimits.com. Immediately. Will help with the RWD transition. A 111r SC will put you in a ditch after the first damp roundabout otherwise :thumbsup

Then book yourself into one of the crazy track day holidays that half the boys are arranging (see Meets, I think.). Well worth it.

Just an update an another question.

I have put down a deposit on Elise 111R + SC. I'll put a lot more information up when I've got it home in a months time.

I've been looking at be recommended service times and checking prices for parts.

Where do you guys buy your spark plugs/belts/pads etc from?

Thanks again!

No one place Bruce, www.eliseparts.com is a regular as is www.seriouslylotus.com.

Prices do not vary a lot between them, although Pagid pads seemed to have increased lately, and it is always worth checking out eBay.

Campbell / Rawsco - Are the car limits training days only in Essex or does he do any further north?

Only Essex, but you can hire walshys elise for sensible money (not much difference from fuel and accommodation) if you can't be arsed driving down/don't want to put miles on your own.

Okay, cheers. I do really fancy it and would rather take my own car if possible... maybe some road trip planning is required
