Is there such a thing ?
The app would store you car history in chronological order, with descriptions and photos of models etc.
Would be good before I lose my mables

There are other apps you can abuse to do this if you cannot find the one you want. There are a plethora of photo-album-builder things, for example, that could no doubt store a bit of text alongside a collection of photos. Indeed in the old days you would have used a photo album for this (or a scrap book, there are numerous scrap book apps too).
Cheers,
Robin

AndyC developed an app a few years ago called
www.ipetrolhead.com that was quite useful that I used to use, but I stopped when the cars kept getting swapped around the family and I lost track.
Just went to bring it up but it is no longer on my iPad, and it does not appear in the AppStore, so I presume that he stopped development and withdrew it.

Correction, it is still available, and also now for Android.
Click on the logo at the side of the site. It is also free now for you pikey barsteward that would not pay £1.49/0.49p for it.

I was reading about a Russian app that uses facial recognition with a lot of cloud power to trace porn stars to their social media profile / promo day page. Taking that creepiness out of it you could have an app that takes a registration plate of a car and tries to match it up to photos of cars, adverts, track day pics etc.
Apologies for the link to the Mirror
