Mark Carney

One of the most impressive men that I have heard discussing his subject.

Wish we could keep him.

Always had a high degree of respect for Carney , from day 1 in fact. Economics is a fascinating subject and he does an outstanding job IMO. Actually so has the Tory government on an economic level IMO, fiscally prudent to the extent politics will allow them to be.

I met him and heard him speak at a business conference at the start of the Commonwealth Games, very knowledgable and a genuine likeable person. :thumbsup

IDS retort to Carney Brexit speech was actually pretty good too although clearly politically motivated.

Missing all their own targets and the manufacturing is back in recession.

We must have different definitions of "outstanding" - I'd agree with "dogmatic and ideological" ? ;)

Usual ignorant idiots spouting that he is favouring remaining.

Fortunately he can explain in words of more than one syllable that he is not giving an opinion, it is laid down in Statute what information he has to release to the Public regarding the effect it could have on the Economy, in effect he was doing his job.
