I could get flamed by potential benefactors here, but why not hire it in weekly/ monthly chunks with a nominal rental to cover servicing and consumables and a small sum to keep you in taxi fares.
That way it has a wider audience and in a years time should be ready for you to jump back in after a once over at MMC
Of course, there is always the chance that the Stars will align and you might dodge a bullet. Best of luck anyway, fingers crossed for you.

Re: N3 TUT
Not interested in making anything out of it Keith, just that she is used as she should be, but obviously the running costs would be passed over.
It may be vanity, but I do not want to see my car which has meant so much to me over the years regardless of which reg no it wore, sitting there doing nothing because I fcuked up.

Re: N3 TUT
Is there any situation in which you could still drive it somewhere? Obviously tracks require valid drivers license but what about sprints on closed/private ground?
If there is then a borrow of a trailer and I'm sure there would be support for getting you there.

How about getting everyone who uses her to at minimum wash her prior to return. Mind you the shock to the panels might be too much...

I was talking to ClarkyBoy yesterday, and I can maybe do two good deeds in one. As you know he had a bad accident on his bike last year and smashed his leg in a mega way. As a result he will not be able to race his BMW this year, but he would still like to get some road runs in and also get back on trackdays to build his leg and rustiness up.
He is used to high power cars and had a good racing season, and because of his contacts he gets invites to Sprints where a driving licence is not required, so it could give me a chance to drive now and again. As a bonus he has a large well equipped work shop so will be able to service and maintain the car better than I could myself, which is why she now goes down to Craig when required. He is also installing a ramp so can keep it looking as it was when I picked it up last April from Keith. I have learnt from experience how quickly the underside of the car can deteriorate, especially the suspension components, so I am confident that it would be well looked after.
Thanks to those that did volunteer, I would have happily left the car with any of you, but Clark seems to fit the bill, plus he is in Kintore to boot.
