Nice met grey S1 (with roof off

) behind us all the way down Aberdeen beach to Union square this morning around 10am. Carrying some telescopic ladders on the rear boot rack
Hello
We were in the Touareg in front of you.

Hello,
It was myself, heading into the office. I do surveys, hence the ladders. The set up looks a bit odd, but I don't mind if it means I can use the Elise for work. The roof has to go on when I get to the office though, on account of the birdlife in the city centre...
Cheers, Angus

Bit of a pain putting the S1 roof on every time Angus, a nylon cover is much easier for the shi*ehawks.

Another vote for a shower cape. But may be getting harder to source for an S1.

I have had a couple made out of goretex type breathable stuff. If you pit a shower cap on over the roof it really keeps the water out. If it's goretex it breathes so you don't have a mould / dampness problem if you want the sizes or one made let me know and I will ask my local seamstress for a price (I'm sure she was £30 last time). I have some navy blue material left, but you will need to get some elastic and clips

If you're not living on the edge you're wasting too much space!

Nice way to do it...
My first ever s1 had the rear boot rack when I bought it. Surprising how helpful it can be.
