Made me think (historic LC)

Post by vet111s » Tue Feb 11, 2014 1:14 am

I know a few of you read Motor Sport magazine and may have read this already. Original road test of the Elan. Made me think of our little plastic cars. Never got to take mine abroad but did some fairly long journeys in it and this review made me think of the links between 2 loti a few decades apart

Mention of hitting 115mph on uk roads

It's not the doing, but the talk of it....

I reached 150 mph on the M1 once in a Jaguar E-Type.

I'm not gonna mention what happened on the M6 toll road, en route to the Autosport show, with three SEers on board my RS6 :blackeye

Oh and tut - nothing untoward, before you make any Finbar Saunders-style references :D

1975, a few months before they brought in the 70 mph limit on the Motorways.

Unlike you lot completely legal. I must be the only one on here that ever had the chance.

I too qualify time wise, however very unlikely my old Ford anglia would have hit 85mph. Licence was completely safe !!!
