Just ordered some new pads all round (DS3000) for the S2000. Currently running RBF600 fluid.

Would it be worth while fitting braided brake lines? Have fitted them in the past but never noticed any difference :?

Only a few months late replying

Trophy - A, B road car, genuinely nothing will get near it!
S2000 - Track car, nicely balance but could do with a little more poke sometimes. Not everyone's cup of tea however from past owners I have spoke to as seems a little to tail happy for some
EP3 - I would buy a FN2 over one now as quite a nice place to be for a road car.

Happy to take you out in the S2000 next time at KH :thumbsup

Little update, couple of new toys!

First up is Martin's (LazyDonkey) VX220....

Only had it out a couple of times as the rain has not really stopped

Have ordered a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 along with a some fresh AD08r's to replace the ageing RE040's. The TD's come with 16" fronts the same as the Elise over the standard 17's which is said to help turn in, plus you can run 195's tyres rather than the standard 175's. Loving the AD08r's, had them on my S2000 and Clio Trophy. A great compromise for road and track IMO. Looking forward to getting them fitted and trying them at SIDC then Croft in April 8)

Plan is to DIY Supercharge it over the winter. Stage 2 should take it up about 100bhp to 250bhp/250lb-ft which should make it interesting to say the least

Also picked up Ross's (Fluoxetine) Panda 100hp, what a riot.....flat out everywhere :damnfunny

:cheers

I think a 250 bhp vx would be a real track weapon ;-)

Is that the road to Muirkirk?
Great road for a car like that, if you can avoid the hoards of cyclists hogging the whole carriageway.

A few folk who have had turbos have got rid of them because the SC power delivery is a lot nicer.
