Laptop heads up.

Post by tut » Thu Jun 06, 2013 1:33 pm

My next door neighbor is a fellow OAP, useless with computers, but a great handyman, so I look after his laptop, and he looks after my roof slates, gutters etc. However it is on its last legs now so he asked me if I would buy a new one for him. He only has normal use for it, e-mail, Internet, Office, Skype, etc, so almost any spec will do nowadays and no need to pay over the odds.

Found this on eBuyer which is ideal for him, choice of 14" or 15.6" so gone for the smaller and lighter one. It is already discounted by £100, but the £50 cash back paid into your bank account is a no brainer. No use for gaming, but for anybody who is looking for a basic to mid range laptop at £229 it would take some beating.

it is very, very purple..

It's worth keeping a look out on the Dell Outlet imo, refurbished, but often very well priced.
I recentlyh bought a laptop for £430 quid that, comparing to Dell new prices would have been £300 more than that with only a BR drive in addition.
