Elise, being mid engine, is harder to drift at a wide angle than front engined cars. So no surprise you could get the MX5 more out of shape and still regain the control.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Thanks mate, took me three days just to get it on you tube!
See it puts the file name top left, never been so obvious that I used to have to run UNIX

I afraid all i know was it was white, he had loads more traction out of chicane and the hairpin so was difficult to judge my cars performance. I'd hoped to run with mikes car as it would have been a good base point but the only point we were close ontrack I put into the kitty litter, hence Johns photo onfacebook

Was a good outing last Sat.
Unfortunately one of the race Minis that sometimes test on track-days bumped me in the paddock area. Minor damage thankfully.
Looking forward to a warmer day in June.

I'm glad it was only a minor bump. I heard the crunch and you guys seemed to be dealing with it amicably. The MINI will probably have more scars after this weekends racing.

Great vid Craig. How different is it managing the turbo power delivery?

No problem with pax, just make sure u catch me as I always forget.
If I'm honest I didn't like the lag initially but once you have the guts to bury the throttle blind in the chicane its not too bad and as I'm running quite low boost for this turbo its actually exagerrated but means the lag should reduce once running more power.

Scott was there no offer of support for the repair? Nothing they are obligated too but just gentlemanly.
Oh and yeah the McLaren top does have a certain trekky look, quite like it though.
