okay seeing that this forum is here to complement the yahoo group can we have 1 forum that is just for announcements. here would be posted trackdays, runs meets etc.
That way the dinosaurs like robin can just go there and see what is going on. As one failing of the lit is things like that are easy to miss

You might want to set the section functions to Post Only and turn off the replies in the admin panel, otherwise you will have 2 threads running in 2 different section referring to the same meet, From experience it tends to lead to a bit of confusion. Alternatively lock any events threads in announcements, just keep the details and a link to the discussion thread.
