Mine is a HPI RS4 with the T3.0 engine. A few of my mates have them. Last time I used mine the crank pin sheared. So a good oppertunity for a rebuild.

I had finally plucked up the courage to look at Alans battlescars last night. They actually look better than I thought it would, and it is healing well. I decided to post them up (Alan actually kept egging me on and I finally gave in!) But if they are too gruesome, I will edit them to post them as a link. Alan is going to get the photo the surgeons took before he went into surgery, but we don't have that yet. That will definitley be posted as a link. :P

Anyway, here they are:

Most of the cut down his arm was done by the surgeons to help pressure once it had swollen up and to repair the tendons and nerves. :thumbsup

We had to rip the carpet up and Scotty took it to the dump for us. :thumbsup We wanted a new carpet anyway!! :blackeye

Never seen stamples used like that, looks pretty good. Hope the healing progresses nicely. I momentarily thought that you had posted pics of the scene of the accident!

Was the angle grinder damaged Jen, as I was actually after one?

Likly to have a nice battle scar there Alan ~but at least it doesnt look like you've been self harming

Good to see you on the mend, I'm sure Jen and the NE lads will find plenty to keep you out of mischief

Top effort sir!

I cut through to the cartilage on my knuckle with the grinder yesterday and was feeling sorry for myself but that's in a whole new league. Hope it heals soon and better than expected.
