Sector111 Bootie

Post by Edin430 » Thu Dec 17, 2009 11:01 pm

Just thought I'd share...

The Exige is currently having a big long list of upgrades fitted to it which started around a month ago and will finish mid January when the car comes out of Steve Walker. One thing that I budgeted for that I have wanted for a while was the Sector111 Boot Tidy. All in with shipping etc it hits $200 but man it's worth it - arrived yesterday and it's a top item! I've never used the boot for items that I've thought might damage my clam but you can put anything in the boot now (that fits obviously) and not worry about touching the lighting or damaging the clam!! Even bottles of wine rolled about with not even a hint of noise. For anyone else that worries about the same problem it's worth every penny :thumbsup

And before you ask, it's 4lb in weight, the boot lining is 9lbs, strip it out and replace with this if you're worried about weight and you are actually saving some not gaining any.

S2 in weight saving shocker? :thumbsup

Looks incredibly shallow in the pic, is the s2 exige boot really that small (looks like they have 1 trainer in it and some baby wipes and it's almost at the top!

Am looking for ideas with what to do with the silly small boot my S1 now has with it's late clam. Should have bought an earlier clam, the boot was much bigger

it does look shallow in the picture but it's not really.. I'd say there is enough height to sit two batteries on top of each other (about the only comparison I can think of!)
