based in barrhead , glasgow.

Went for quick spin tonight(no more than 1 mile) and no more oil is coming from underneath (prob cause most is on my garage floor ) everything seems fine , brake, clutch . Got the car booked in to lotus on friday . Probably a good thing this has happened cause i promised myself i would get the car a check over by lotus as soon as i got it ,then extend the warrenty , but to be honest having so much fun i prob wouldnt have wanted to give them it for few months yet !

anyway turns out i aint covered for AA....so i need a low loader for friday barrhead to edinburgh anyone recommend someone ?

also on another note , passed by the old lotus garage at kinning park glasgow today ..noticed 2 lotus elises parked outside(not for sale) does this crysler garage by anychance still do work on lotus ?

thaks guys !

No afraid they don't - edinburgh only. Absolute pain cos it was so easy to drop car off in the mornin - subway into work and collect at end of day. Last time I was htere they did still have a Lotus for sale but that was prob best part of a year ago.Keith

Think officially they do still do work on Lotus.....but I'd rather stick my genitals into a beehive......take it to MMC Edinburgh, SLS or JPS.....the choice is yours!

I will need to check up on the recovery thingy for a 16month old car!

had someone with bit more knowledge look at my car today , just incase it was somthing silly to save me sending it to edinburgh . Guy said car is losing gearbox oil and that gearbox will prob have to come out . So its off to lotus monday morning ....costing me 150 quid to hire lowloader

you would think MMC could pick me car up or summit :x

You really should join either AA or RAC - then "breakdown" outside ASDA's or something, saying "I came back to my car and discovered a pool of oil under it". Then they'll tow it to the nearest sensible garage - in this case, MMC Edinburgh.

Cheers,
Robin
