Sorry in advance for this one. Like any other business I have or more to the point used to have a web site for Pencaitland Pest Services (PPS) . Having been informed by my web site supply chappy that it was going down for a couple of days for maintenance , end result website gone for over a fortnight now no communication nothing in this age of instant communication............. There have been issues in the past with this company and I have finally lost my patience with this nonsense......

Having been arsed around before by web designers , their web-chat/waffle( usually goes over my head) I personally find it all very boring the technical bit is unfortunately of little interest to me. All I want is a working web site with no frills attached .......... my interest is in the content and price????

So if anyone out there knows where I could find a genius in simple web design with minimal fuss and cost I would be gratefull .

Ps Sorry for the lack of Lotus content normal service will resumed shortly.

I am in the middle of doing a website for my other half's new personal fitness training business. I am a software engineer/consultant but really anyone who is moderately computer literate can design a decent looking website for a small business using MS Publisher or Adobe Dreamweaver - there are wizards to step you through it and no coding is required. Web design - easy money if you ask me

I've nothing to add to the web side of the discussion but I think I've got a flair for design/theme.

So (in rendered 3d)

The sun sets across the rolling hill, in the field in the foreground, three cute bunny rabbits are frolicking their way back to their warren.

There is one, two, three cracks of some and one by one the bunny rabbits topple to the ground, as the fall they land on their backs.

The camera starts to move as it bounds towards where the bunnies are lying (as if the camera is now the eyes of a gun dogs)

It reaches the bunnies and written on their soft underbellies is

"pentland" "pest" "services"

noops, OUTSOURCE is the answer for saving money. it is about half the cost (may be even lower). i just got my website done from a friend in india and his team has done a fantastic job. we r still doing the final bits and it should be hosted very soon. shall keep u posted and see what u think about it.
