the only one i use is bebo cant be arsed with myspace and facebook

Linked-In is the only one I'm on... but never use it. At least the contacts are there if I need them.

Did join Friends Reunited years ago and then started getting mails from old school mates that I wasn't particularly bothered about speaking to anyway... made me wonder why I bothered.

Work expects us to keep up with what's happening in the world of the interweb (being an ISP and all...) so I've got accounts on most of these facebook/bebo social networking sites. Recently got back in touch with a good mate from uni who found me through facebook, and found he was looking for a job, so I hired him. Can't be all bad.

I'm not interested in the social bit of facebook. I'm more interested in the technology behind it and the user experience. On that front I have to say it's very well designed and very usable.

The only one I actually make an effort to update is linkedin.
