For those that don't know ...

Pic#1 the dyno-rod coloured car is a Rotrex supercharged Honda - the supercharger is just enormous! It looked and sounded fantastic and shot mahoosive flames out the back on upshift. Unfortunately it's plagued by reliability problems at present so didn't finish either race this weekend.

Pic#2 the car in front is Gav K. who has won all class A scratch races to date and the car behind is Mike Edwards who was glued to Gav's tail pretty much all throughout both practice and racing.

The car spinning in the last picture is Paul Golding :-)

And of course 81 is Neil and 44 is Andy ...

Good pics!

Cheers,
Robin

He is limited to 6000rpm as thats when he produces 300hp (he would make a LOT more than that)

It belongs to Russ Treasure form Norlog (Owner of Lambogenie) and the supercharger belt keeps coming off hence why he overtakes everything then retires...

And thoroughly nice chap he is too - he lent us a wheel bearing :-)

The belt keeps coming off despite rev limit - I wonder how many laps he could complete if he revved it all the way to 8,000 RPM :-)

Great car though and I hope he gets it sorted!

Cheers,
Robin

With his army of mechanics you would have thought they'd have it fixed by now...

Very nice chap. Drives an Orange Lambo Galliardo and will be providing me with my replacement car when the Liz finally goes in for repair :thumbsup I may have to rough it with an S2 though... (Supposedly Lotus are awaiting a batch of front clams to come in, earliest end of May!)

Remember being at Croft when it was K powered - it was fast then!

Got to say thanks to Russ for the free programmes :thumbsup

Russ' car is capable of producing 450+ bhp, I'd like to see that :D but rather see him finish.

I thought the handicap race was fantastic from a spectators point of view, a brilliant spectacle as it started to unfold.

I have 9 frames of PaulGs spin if anyone would like to tease him :D

Good idea Robin, I didn't think of that, I must have got too much sun at Oulton. Here's a DIY one:

hasn't the fact he's done it in an S2 Exige caused some controversy?

Think he has been asked to eat some pies before the next race. Although its all down to the driver in this case - he is very good at hustling that fat S2
