What happened with Ed at 3.09 where he appears to lock up out of the top corner, and then pulls in? :?

Cant remember, that was pretty much first thing in the morning. I tried to let him past and then remember he had the camera. Think i might have been breaking (too hard) to avoid a spin?! :?

Also noticed the car looks quite softly sprung compared to other S1 Exiges

Funny you should say that! The steward at the track said that aswell. Its got nitrons but ive no idea where they are at! :oops: Ill try and get someone who knows what they are doing to show me!

Most of the S1s I have seen or been in have been on Nitrons with some quite high spring ratings

Compared to other Loti it looks normal just S1 Exiges tend to run quite stiff springs eg
Nitrons come with 325/400 springs but many S1s with Hondas run with 400/500

Mine is running 400 and 500 springs, no idea where the nitrons are set but was told that it was set up for hard track. Dont really have the confidence to start playing about with them but might try adjusting them to find out exactly where they are. cheers

Don, just out of interest, how did the Evo cope with the tightness of the circuit :?:

What the dampers are set to will not effect the level of roll produced by any corner just how quickly it is achieved. (taught well by Plans :D )
Have a look at what your ARB is set to you should have it on full hard or 5th hole counting up the bar. If its softer setting that maybe it.
I would highly recommend having a play on track with the Nitron settings as a rule;

Stiffening the front or backing off the rear will produce more grip at the rear this will help if the car is too pointy

Backing off the front or stiffening the rear will produce the opposite effect making the back come into play.

Turning up both will make the car feel a bit more controlled although you can loose grip if over done.
Most find running a soft ish setting a fair bit quicker due to grip levels.

A good trick for the wet is softening the rear so the car is a bit more
understeery - I found I was a lot quicker if i had the confidence to push.

Pretty well to be honest. Jamsie's was struggling slightly as his suspension is a bit softer than mine.

It's not as tight as the Sprint that the MLR do at Ingleston. There are first gear corners in that, but the lowest at teeside was 2nd. :D 8)

Good circuit I enjoyed it. :D 8)

Bit heavy in the o/s front tyre mind you but that was probably with pushing too hard. :?
