[quote="Sanjoy"]Pics from their twatter account.
What's missing from this pic is a rather large road flowing East to West to bring the new bridge traffic over to the existing Spur

Imagine if you have a lisp ...
Why is the word lisp difficult to say for people with a lisp ?

I thought I heard it was on the way now though?
Carlisle got its bypass open a short while back. What a racetrack

Certainly not too much further south.
I was cleared to go Kelty, Bridges, Kirkcaldy but to be honest, it was my 1st venture into the Edinburgh zone and I wasn't too sure how far I could go before turning so probably took the Dalgety Bay exit

I think you'll find the M6 has been open for a while

Yes Dom, however the M6 isn't as helpful when one is heading for West Cumbria coast
Although we have travelled as far south as J42 to then cut x-country to avoid Carlisle. No need for that any more though

They would normally be quite happy for you to go right to the north point of the bridges and if you say south then there's no problem crossing, you are still well away from their flight paths. Don't blame you though, it's quite intimidating getting your words in between BA and all the other commercial carriers, an if they detect any kind of uncertainty in your voice they'll be quick to deny you access or ask you to leave promptly.
It's an easy run to Cumbernauld as you can cross the bridges, bear right and 'exit Polmont'. That still keeps you well away from their centre line so they will normally grant you access no problem. Then bear right and up to Stirling then over to Perth (watching for Strathallan). Nice little jaunt and you can get a nice pics of the Falkirk Wheel and Wallace Monument
