Part 2
After enjoying the roads around Adenau Nadia needs some attention as every steering input is a reaction to the rear end
Image
Back on the road after assurance that the bearing might get us to our destination it's a long drive across Germany and the Czeck Republic to Brno
Image
Image
Last day of driving, Brno to Vienna Ali needs a hangover cure
Image
After Drinks in Vienna we set off for Bratislava, which th sat nav doesn't think exists
Image
Bratislava was a beautiful city
Image
Image
Nadia received a medal for completing the 1300mile journey (on top of the 330,000miles already clocked up). The meercats were araldyted on after the ferry.
Image
Then we rocked upto Lexus Bratislava in Nadia, the showroom had a security gate, amazingly they let us in. The bemused salesman swapped the car for a keyring and a towel.

Thanks for making it to the end :beer

A/C unfortuantely wasn't working, fans blew lovely warm air just what you need in 35degrees of ball sweat.

That lift in Germany was cool, we did admire it at the time despite the fact that we nearly ended the trip there.

Yeah - it got a touch sweaty without AC.....

Whilst the meerkat-express was up on the ramps the only word we understood as the two mechanics prodded about under the car was "schissen"......

Got a few looks when we rolled up to "the ring" in the gold luxo-barge covered is stickers....!

It was one awesome trip, amazed the car got us there... with 330K on the clock, the dealers eyes light up when i said 1/2million kilometers..... Whilst handing the minimally-english speaking dealer the V5 Smee exclaimed...."just sign here".... and thus the car was exported...job done ;)

I must have completely missed all the forum chatter on this one .. any chance of a summary of what it was all about?

Cheers,

We bought a 330,000mile LS400 on ebay and drove it to Bratislava via Amsterdam, Nurburg Ring, Czeck Republica and Vienna then swapped the car for a keyring and flew home.
