Evening folks,

Well firstly, thanks for the allowing me to join you all at Knockhill on Saturday. It was splendid to meet Tut, Jamie, Scott, Scott and Holly, and Alan.

Thanks to tut, for breaking the ice and introducing me to a few people. I did spend loads of time trying to 'track' you down but I think you had an almost grouppe style following!!!

Jamie then kindly offered to take me out in the Exige as I loitered around the pit area and had to endure my Incompetancy of strapping in and thereafter gave me an addictive taste of Lotus driving - I can’t thank you enough for your time, patience and generosity. Thank you so much!

So afterwards, I nipped down with the camera for a while to capture the rest of you on the track before desperately looking for that illusive Elise to have a closer look at, to which Alan obliged and let me have some time as a pax with only a short while to go before finishing. Again thank you for your time and efforts.

Finally a thank you to the two Scotts and Holly for some valuable advice as I prepare to search for an Elise......

Thanks again to everyone for their time and assistance, look forward to seeing you all again wherever the next event may be!

Here are a few pics to end the weekend - Hope you all had an enjoyable one!

Good to meet you Andrew, excellent photographs, good luck in your search for an Elise.

Any chance of a high res copy of the photograph of my car?

Andy, nice to meet you yesterday, glad you enjoyed your day despite the weather :D

You do of course realise that you'll now have the bug and it's impossible to resist the lure of the Elise

Great pics, many thanks for the ones of my car, I love the front 3/4 shot at the hairpin, almost looks like I'm looking straight at you!

Cheers,
Jamie

Looks as if we have another top class photographer in our Group, as those are excellent pictures, especially when there are two cars in the shot. One I would have liked was when Davey and I were lapping together, as that black GT2 is a lovely and evil looking car.

Do you know Andy that we have a full day at KH on Monday 20th July, organised by LOT and myself? If you were ready you could take your car on then as it will be all Lotuses with track behaviour second to none, and lots of time to break yourself in. If not come along anyway as we will be back in the pit lane then and you can pax to your hearts content.

The whole family are coming down, as Clare's boyfriend Jamie will be driving N3 as part of his birthday present, and I doubt if I can keep Ian out of it. However I would prefer to keep the car out of the gravel, left hand drive with a S/C Honda engine is not exactly a blondes learner car, so if anybody with a lesser powered car wants to do a swap for N3 whilst she goes out with an Instructor that would be appreciated.

Morning all,

Many thanks for the replies folks!

Alan, Of course no problems - Would you be so kind as to send me your email address to av8-images@hotmail.co.uk so i can send you some Hi-res pics?

Rag it, thank you - Yes I did have the 400 on just as I wasnt familiar with KH and the opportunities there so may rethink on future visits. Still they aint that bad. Just updating the website with a few more - will send a link once done!

Tut, Doubtful I will have one by then but thank you for considering me. Will try and make it down that day after work.

Once again all, thanks for taking the time to reply!

Have a good 'un!

Andy
