2010 Calendar pics thread (read before you post)

Post pics here for possible voting for next year's calendar.
The idea behind this is to get photos from each month of the year for the next calendar. Please read the points below and stick to them carefully.
1) Only post pictures taken during the month you're posting them - clearly mark the month in question
2) Please don't post anything other than photos, it'll just make sorting through this thread more difficult
3) Only post photos you have taken yourself - if it's someone else's photo confirm in advance that they are happy for it to be posted and a hi res copy is available
4) Include the photographer name (even if your own) under the photo when you post - if you don't, it won't be included in the voting (this is because it can prove impossible to track down originals in time for printing)
5) Only post photos if you have a high quality version that can be used if the photo goes in the calendar. Even a 5 megapixel camera phone may produce an image of poorer quality than a 3 megapixel compact camera with Zeiss lens, and printed images will show this up moreso than on screen.
6) Post individual photos, not links to other galleries etc
7) Be selective - don't post a string of snaps from an event or trip, choose your very best
Depending on volumes and quality, we may run next year's poll a little differently, but denoting the month of your pic is still important. Happy snapping!
