Hi Lee

The way the guy used to drive it,I doubt of its still around.Got me in trouble at KH one day, zooming about outside the track, and the security guys had a pop at me the next day for it.I told them I would never drive my car like that,as it was my pride and joy :D

LotusLee
:thumbs up Well done. I would have a good look at the chasis though as it had a bit of a dent in it after I slid into a tree one time.
Dude! I sh@t a breeze block there! lol!
Car seems to be in great condition. Fells very tight. Quite a throaty exhaust thats on it, not sure if its OEM or not. Sounds nice tho! I get the impression according to Simon that it's had a re-spray since you owned it Lee.

Nice pic in front of the Harrier! I'll be nicking that I think! ;)

Hi, I left a stage 2 exhaust on the car but the new owner didn't want it and I think it ended up on Iain T's Exige. The car did have a few stonechips on the front and sills but I'm not sure if MMC painted these bits or not, Graeme at MMC would be the one to ask . I think it was a guy in his 70's who bought it after me. I'll look out all the pics of it and put them on photobucket incase you want any of them. Hopefully see you about for a run sometime.
p.s The car also had Pagid 'blues' all round when I sold it.

I had my heart set on an Exige at some point in the near future, but this caught my eye at a dealer in Dundee. The salesman made me a great trade in offer on my S1 and since I wasn't looking forward to trying to sell it in an already crowded market, I just went for it. Glad I did!

Only got it this morning and been at work all day, so not really got a feel for it yet. Roll on the weekend!
First impressions tho are that it feels rock solid and far more refined compared to the S1, and doesn't crash over the bumps like my S1. Interior is so much more plush too.

Oh and Simon, you'll be disappointed to hear it has NO hard-top!

Now you just need to get one of these :

Thanks for the info Lee. I'll poke around the exhaust and brakes tomorrow (too hungover to leave the house today!) and see if I can tell what they are. Definitely not a Stage 2 on there. I've driven an Exige with a stage 2 and it was deafening! :)
Yeah, be good to get out on some group runs this year!
Cheers for the offer of pics too!

To be honest, I quite like the sound of the exhaust thats on it, whatever it is. Very deep and throaty if a wee bit blaring on overrun.

Cheers,
D

doesn't sound like a standard exhaust then - not loud at anytime..
