Absolutely awesome, and the video quality is amazing. I was surprised even at that height that you could see the whole globe of the earth.

I have been in a flat spin in an aircraft that I thought that I was not going to come out of trying to break the lock on of a Sam7 missile, but at least I had an ejector seat. The one that he went into was a whole new level and he must have thought that he was not going to be able to stabilise it. Just stepping out of the capsule takes unbelievable guts.

IIRC The capsule & balloon returned to earth a couple of minutes later - apparently it's a condition for the record to be recognised.
I presume they could slowly deflate the balloon remotely.

They had a remote release to separate the capsule from the balloon. It landed 55 miles east of where Felix landed

I have to admit that at first I didn't like the look of the Huayra but there is no getting away from it, it is a very striking design with some really nice touches. The gear lever especially catches your eye. Nice interview and a passionate guy for sure.

Great to see how he persevered with his car after Lambo decided to break the association.

Surprised that he did not mention Koenigsegg when he was going through the cars that he thought that he would have to catch up with, they are very similar in spec and spirit.
