Up early this morning after a quiet night last night. So, with a new toy in the garage, and empty roads calling, there was only one thing to do!

I had a few enquiries after I posted it might be available on a Pistonheads thread. Values for the Spyder are really high just now so I took a wee profit at it too which is always nice. It'll be interesting to see how values go in future.
I've only driven about 150 miles so far and between being strict with the run in process and the current poor weather up in the north east of Scotland so I'm just scratching the surface of the cars character and ability. So far I'm really taken with it. It's a very different car to the Spyder. Obviously not in the same league as far as the build finish. The best comparison I can make is having moved from a Caterham R400 to the Spyder, the Exige sits right between the two. For me it's exactly what I want a couple of thousand miles per year for the occasional blast out. The Spyder is a special car but the Exige drives, feels and looks even more special. The Boxster, like most modern Porsches was clinical, the Exige is way more 'alive' if that makes sense.
I have absolutely no regrets in changing.

Hi Chris and welcome to the Scottish Lotus scene. I've posted up over on TLF to your posting there re signing up for LEGS. Lovely car and photo. It reminds us all what we enjoy about cards and driving. I just can't stand the getting up early bit to do it myself!
