Thanks folks! I do like the starlet series, completely wrong settings on the camera at the time (wasn't quite expecting the spin), but the results are pretty interesting :D

Andy, I uploaded all the originals of the elise/exige's. If you look at the last 20 shots in this set (http://www.flickr.com/photos/4hero/sets ... 934697763/, click on your car then select "All Sizes" above the photo, you'll see an "Original" option.

Cheers,

Neil.

I was playing with tyre pressures - the back suddenly started to work much better and as I got faster it developed more and more understeer. Overall the car was faster (took almost 2 seconds off my personal best) and I prefer a bit of understeer, but things eventually got out of hand and I understeered off at the hairpin. I should have listened to Mass - as the understeer develops let some air out. All good fun and a great day :thumbsup

Neil, road biased Caterham can understeer a lot on track.

I guess as Dave was getting faster, he has started to experience more understeer. Time to re-set the geo for track use.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Neil.
Is this anyone on here? I'm sure I've seen it a few times around our office complex in Rubislaw here in Aberdeen so possibly works for Chevron/Shell/Marathon/Conoco.

Alex 111s :- He works for Shell....... By sheer coincidence, I mentioned this track day to a friend who also works @ Seafield.

Apparently Ray Sussex works in the same office ( orange Caterham)

Small world indeed. Brian Laing from Tarves- Tall fella with brown hair and a moustache? :?:
If it's the same guy, then I know Brian through work & we're in the same lottery syndicate. (I worked for Brian @ McDermotts as a summer student when I was at Uni & a couple of times since over the years.) IIt's been a couple of years since I saw him last. I'll have to drop him an email. :thumbsup

Cal, It is a small world but not that small. :D I'm with Chevron (in Chevron Hs) so I don't know Ray Sussex.
