Why the rocks on the car roof in the 2nd pic?

Dom
Its not a rock but the top part of the stone pillar you can see in the 1st photo.
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Lovely pics (and car!), recognised that instantly (born and brought up in the Borders)
Need to get back down there, haven't had a drive down in a while as I no longer have the excuse of family to visit there

Any know where that is?
Taken last Tuesday by me

Eildon Hills, great part of the world. Visit a client down there from time to time (Newstead / Newtown St Boswells) and always a great run down and back in the Elise, scenery is really endearing even if not "spectacular" Highlands stylee. In fact due down there next week or week after, looking forward to it now
If I didn't have another client pax with me I'd nip up there and try some rival pics!

Well done Jim. I am surprised as you don't live anywhere near it.
Mass, I spent a week holiday in the Borders a couple of years ago going Abbey hunting. The view is quite memorable
