Finally people will stop laughing at my VX

Post by Lazydonkey » Sat Oct 06, 2007 11:37 am

........as i have another car and i sense there is more mileage for piss taking in this one!

Yes I am now the proud owner of a Fiat Panda 1.2 Dynamic

Image

Initial thoughts are;
- If you arne't surrounded by other traffic it "feels" quick :oops:
- 155 width low rolling resitance tyres don't offer much in the way of grip!
- It's surprisingly fun to chuck about
- I've been driving it like i stole it since wed and i'm getting 38mpg :o

Now all i need is an SE sticker for it and I'm away ! :wink:

Let the piss taking / mobility car jokes commence. :roll:
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

This car was my old mans runabout , but has now been replaced by a french registered Renault Senic so was going a begging. A deal was done and i'm now the proud owner.

I was looking for a new-ish cheap car as i dont have access to another car since i split with my ex. First car was a Cinq sporting, family friend is a fiat dealer so the panda / punto was always on my list. A 100HP would have been ideal but this works just fine. 8) It's a cracking wee car - honest ! :lol:

It also means i dont have to drive the VX everyday which opens the door to a host of possibilities :wink:
