Solo (ie all-forwards) Autotest in Johnstone near Glasgow this Saturday. Entries are now closed (tho it's been pushed on Yahoo, so no excuses if you wanted to compete
) but it's always a good laugh to watch. Especially as we've got a strong TSE Caterham contingent who'll be spectacular, if nowt else!
WH Malcolm's Yard - Here's Dom's directions:
Scrutineering starts at 11. First car goes at 12:00
Event at W H Malcolm's yard, Mary St, Johnstone, Map ref; 64/433633
From Glasgow, M8 past airport, take flyover (towards Linwood, Johnstone Etc), continue for a few miles. Take the Bridge of Weir / Johnstone turn off. Turn left at the top of the slip road, in towards the centre of Johnstone. At the 2nd set of lights, turn left, you will pass a car park on the left hand side, the road the turns 90 Deg to the right, continue along this straight. SSCC usually put out some orange motorsport arrows at this point. Take the last left-hand side road on that straight (before road turns right back up towards Johnstone centre). Go to the end of that road, and the event will be through the gates in the metal fence on the right hand side.
Pop along for a natter, if you're at a loose end
