Hi Guys

Glenrothes tracknight tomorrow night. Apologies for the late notice, but with such cheapness it would surely be rude not to attend :)

Glenrothes Motor Sport Club Newsletter

Tarmac Testing/Track Night at Knockhill Tuesday 3rdJuly.

GMSC have Knockhill circuit booked for this Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm, arrive by 5:30 for signing on and safety briefing.

Rally cars, road cars, kit cars, race cars, shopping trolleys or whatever, are all welcome.

Competition licenses and overalls are not needed.

You must show a valid current road driving licence.

Drivers and passengers must wear helmets. Knockhill have some helmets for hire.

Car and first driver, £40.00. Second or additional driver sharing the same car, £25.00.

Passengers are free, but must sign on for insurance reasons.

Entry form is attached, you can fill it in and bring it with you to save a bit of time at signing on.

A fine opportunity for some testing before the next tarmac rally, or to give the sponsor a hurl, or just blow the cobwebs out of the road car.

Hope to see some of you there.

pity it wasn't tonight... We've gotten rid of the kids 'til Tuesday lunch time and are then taking them to Blackpool.

Word of warning - these days are run very much like test days so it's not for the faint of heart.

If it's dry I'll bring up the caterham :D

Hi Mac

The last one was pretty tame actually. Usual no passing under braking chat and keeping passing to the 3 straights.

Sounds like a plan. Any more details on the club membership? This ensures that I am insured :)
Other than that, I presume we can arrive and drive?

Andy G... how often does this club run these KH nights? If it's test session stylee then it's not really any different to the Dreadnought nights I do but cheaper.... so if the club run them about 2-3 times a year I might join up.

Any more info would be great !!

Andy....

PS, I got one of those 3 Monkey D-shirts... pretty cool.

I can pass details for membership on to you, but you can sign up for this tomorrow night, although membership price (£35) won't be valid until next time for you.

i think they do 3-4 a year.

Shall we start an attendance list and I'll let Lock know?

2. Ed
3. Mac
4. Gorrie???

My car is being collected and paid for Wednseday night - question is, do I head up to KH as its last outing on scottish soil (its going to holland!) or is it tempting fate tracking a car that I`ve sold..... :?
