You can all blame Campbell for this one as he brought it up after the F1 ...
So, we're going to Spa for Saturday November 13 2010 with book-a-track.
http://www.bookatrack.com gets you to the main page, then select Spa down the right hand side.
Note there are two days at Spa, Saturday and Sunday - we've chosen the Saturday as it suits us - obviously it would be nice for everyone who is going to go the same day ...
The plan is to head out on Friday afternoon chunnel (2pm ish), stay near the circuit (groan, Belgium), do the track day on Saturday, head back to the UK on Saturday evening and then either blitz it home or stop over down south and complete the journey on Sunday.
I've booked
Cheers,
Robin

Could we perhaps do the Ring as well?
Ape?
would mean no endurance race, but thats sounding increasingly unlikely anyway

Provisionally to share Campbell's car, though if it comes to it we could take Egor or the Exxon Valdez ...
At present the Friday and Sunday are full public days on the ring, but the Saturday is a closed day, so in principle one could visit the ring either before or after.
Neither BaT nor LoT has any other track days on nearby dates.
I could see some people wanting to do two whole days at Spa?
I could see the merit in doing a few tourist laps on the ring Friday afternoon, then staying at the ring (cow-on-rock dinner), then leaving for Spa in time to get there for absolutely no later than 08:15 (it's not LoT, so we don't have quite the same flexibility on briefing times).
There could also be some merit in doing a few laps on the Sunday, though somehow the inevitable disappointment of finding it's actually not open, or it is, but the track is closed for hours on end due to crashes, is easier to live with when you've got Spa next than when you've just done Spa. Or is that just me?
Cheers,
Robin

If Campbell can be persuaded to do two days, I'll book the Sunday too
Despite loving the ring, I really don't care whether we go there or not ...
Cheers,
Robin

yeah could take the GT3 - think its a bit late in the year for the 340R and the Elise is SORN.
Will have a wee think and check my calendar properly before commiting
Still, leave Thursday, Ring Friday, Spa Saturday, Spa Sunday or home Sunday - what will we call this little outing?
Ring Roast?
SpaRRing ?
£2
K in 3 days?

The 160 is getting there, but slowly, hence mybuy, engine running, but still a lot to finish, and not enough hours in the day. already missed the best part if the summer, and need to have some fun.
Wish it was a 340r but not yet, next year perhaps, if anyone wants to part with one.
